Cottingham Darby & Joan Luncheon Club
The Club is open to Cottingham residents who are pensioners and meets every Friday in the Darby & Joan Hall in Finkle Street, Cottingham, but it is limited to 120 members to comply with fire regulations.
At the present time, there is a short waiting list to join. Members start arriving during the morning and our mini bus makes five "runs" to bring those who are more infirm or live on the outskirts of the village.
The Club is run by the WRVS. The excellent lunch is freshly cooked on the premises. After lunch there is entertainment or Bingo followed by a cup of tea and biscuits before members make their own way home or return in the mini bus.
Anyone wishing to join the Club is very welcome to add their name to the waiting list.

The Cottingham Darby & Joan Club, Finkle Street, Cottingham urgently requires two cooks every Friday from 9.00 am to noon, to cook the lunch in the Hall's kitchen for approximately 120 people. Remuneration.
