The East Riding Cricket Society

Programme 2015 to 2016

Legendary Test umpire Harold 'Dickie' Bird and England Test star Ashley Giles are just two of the famous names heading to Cottingham's King Billy this winter to celebrate East Riding Cricket Society's Golden Jubilee. Yorkshire CCC players will also be on hand to reflect on their second successive County Championship victory -  achieved with the help of local boys Will Rhodes and Steve Patterson. Meanwhile treasures from the Yorkshire Film Archive, the intriguing tale of the famous 'Six Sixes' ball, and an evening with 2015 Yorkshire beneficiary Rich Pyrah complete an attractive programme.

Many star names have entertained members and guests down the years - among them Ian Botham, David Lloyd, Len Hutton, Colin Cowdrey, Brian Close and Jason Gillespie - and East Riding Cricket Society continues to offer a warm welcome to all cricket lovers.

Join for just £15 a year, or visit as a guest for £5 on the door (deductible from the membership fee on joining).
