Programme 2018 to 2019
East Riding Cricket Society returns to the King Billy this winter with another top-class programme. Two local stars lead the line-up: Mark Robinson OBE is the World Cup-winning coach of England Women's Cricket; Yorkshire CCC's Steve Patterson is the newly appointed Club Captain and will be joined by Chief Executive Mark Arthur and Commercial Director Andy Dawson. After swapping Test stardom for a prison cell, Chris Lewis has started afresh - playing club cricket, coaching, and sharing his remarkable, redemptive life story. Glamorgan all-rounder Malcolm Nash captained his county, scored the fastest B&H Cup century, coached in the USA ... and fifty years ago made sporting history as the bowler hit by Sir Garfield Sobers for six sixes in a six-ball over - a first in senior cricket. Journalist and broadcaster Pat Murphy (BBC Radio 5 Live) has covered all the big cricket and football stories in a thirty-year career.
